Automatic Dog Waterer
An automatic dog waterer will allow pet parents (or pet owners) to rest easy knowing their beloved little best friend has all the fresh water he needs to get him through the day.
Being a pet lover isn’t all fun and games. Sure, you love your dog, you play with him and sometimes you even dress him up and take him to your local park or pet store for a little socialization. But you also know that being a pet owner means taking responsibility for your pet’s health and safety as well.
Of course, sometimes, giving your dog all of your attention just isn’t practical. You work, you do a little of your own socializing and you may have a spouse and children that also need a great deal of your attention. Heck, you’re busy! Well, thankfully, to ease a little of your burden, the automatic dog waterer was invented with you (and your pet) in mind!
Fresh water is vital to your dog’s health. Keeping well hydrated is a must for all dogs and that means not going more than a few hours without drinking water. It’s important that dog owners understand that an old, stagnant, dirty bowl of water leftover from yesterday morning is not fair, nor is it healthy for their dog. As a matter of fact, it’s quite dangerous because it is now laden with bacteria that can make their dog quite ill.
An automatic dog waterer will provide the fresh water Rover needs all day long. When properly used according to manufacturer’s instructions, it will keep a full, fresh supply in the drinking reservoir so that Rover will have access to it at his whim. Dogs should never have to wait for water. It should be readily available to them at all times – even when you’re out or at work – an automatic dog waterer makes it simple and practically effortless for you to be sure he has constant access to all the water he needs.
Of course, an automatic dog waterer can’t do all the work. It’s up to you to keep it clean, keep it full and replace any filters as directed. This is a small price to pay in order to be assured that your four-legged best friend has all the fresh water he could ever want.
But how do you know how much is enough? Well, this is a generalization only and each dog is different – especially more active dogs – but one way to decide what size automatic dog waterer is right for your pet, is to figure that the average dog will drink (or should drink) at least 1 cup of water for every five pounds of body weight.
In other words, if your dog weighs 15 pounds, then he needs at least 3 cups of fresh, clean water in a clean container, available to him on a daily basis. Larger dogs need substantially more and if you have multiple pets, be sure to allot for each dog to have the right amount of fresh water per day.
Remember, along with love, affection and fun, it’s up to pet owners to give their dogs the proper amounts of fresh food and water on a daily basis. And an automatic dog waterer can help pet owners fulfill that very important responsibility.
