One important note regarding dog feeders is that they do need to be kept clean at all times so that bacteria or small bugs and insects aren’t given the ability to infest your pet’s food supply. Also, having a dog feeder won’t provide fresh water that your pet needs on a daily basis. If you can’t provide fresh water at least every morning, then consider purchasing a pet fountain as well. These fountains will give you some freedom but like any other pet feeding and watering accessory, need to be kept clean at all times.
