The Drinkwell replacement filters for the Original pet fountain are made of 2 filtration pads. The first pad is designed to catch the large particles like hair and other debris. The second carbon pad is designed to remove any bad tastes and odors from the water. Between the 2 pads is extra charcoal to ensure long lasted filtration. These filters will work with Drinkwell’s Original, Platinum, or Big Dog pet fountains. They will nto work with the Drinkwell 360. 3 Filters per package. These filters are solely for use with the Drinkwell 360 fountain. These filters have a plastic, cylindrical shape and feature a pull tab for easy removal and replacement. The filter is a polyester pad designed to filter larger debris, as well as a granulated carbon filter for extended life and odor free water. For best results, replace your filters every 2-4 weeks.
